Excuse or truth, maybe just simply. Dazed and confused.

Or just having a bad day? Why do we do it to ourselves? In every culture, every country, within each city drug taking is a daily routine. In line ‘Excuse the pun” with religion, work, social life, love, some are masters others slaves and most mere addicts, destruction even self annihilation. Why are we so destructive? Every man women and child on the rock inherently has the same needs, with individual situation causing a slight difference in wants. Generally we all want to be happy and safe. Since the dawn of man we have got high, is it a bad thing? Why? Should we indulge the thoughts of individuals that have decided what is good or bad? How we think, our thoughts and views, do they really belong to us, do we have any thoughts feelings views even judgement that truly belong to us as individuals. Or just regurgitated ideas we have heard, read or been conditioned to think. Does our past really dictate our future? Is it possible to judge without prejudice, without calling on history or the human condition?
Of course this makes no sense, it has been written by a man on a come down. Can you be free if you have something to loose? Or, can freedom only be attained when you have nothing to loose.
