The number of sexual partners doesn't mean much if you truly love the person. As long as we're about even, it's cool. I worry if she has been with tons more because that might be a bad sign of things to happen in the future.

If u are in a long term relationship. these questions will rear their heads occasionally. IMO the best thing to do is reassure your partner that they (the past flames) were stepping stones to get to where you are now, with your mate. These are insecurities, after all most of us have had other partners , your long term mate just questions whether or not he is the final stop, in other words is he what you have been looking for? Or is he another "stone"?

The honest truth is a guy who is seriously involved with a girl does not want to think of his girl being with another guy. Especially how many different ones their has been...... Most guys when it comes down to thinking of their future wife and mother of their children they usually think of them as virgins or at least little experience.

THE amount of sexual partners a woman has had doesn't matter to a man long as they aren't his friends. If anything its a good thing long as she has learned a few tricks and how to be comfortable enough with herself to communicate sexual needs and to try new things.

if a guy thinks your a whore when you sleep as much as him then hes just not even worth another second of your time or hes just pretty much a big dirty whore himself. Don't let guys judge you by your sexual past right away. First earn his respect then tell him when your comfy with eachother so he doesn't get the wrong idea if its been a lot. I say nasty when it's been more then 20 partners.. freaky when it's been under 10 partners and just normal when it's around 5..

Yes it would bother me. With women being more emotinal than men, for her to have just have sex with a man means that there is something not connecting with her mentally. Men can have sex with anyone, cause it truly is just a physical thing.

In our culture, there is still this double standard. Many men would not like it if their girlfriends had as many, or more, sexual encounters than they have had. It doesn't mean that they think she's "nasty" but it doesn't sit right with them either.

28 male. I slept with about 25 women before I meet my wife who has only had two including me. I would have to say I would not be to happy if my wife had slept with as many guys as I did girls. I may not have even dated her or got married to tell you the truth. I know it is a double standard but you wanted the truth. When I guy thinks of a girl he wants to date he thinks of someone he wants to be loyal and have high self esteem. In a guys mind if a girl has had a lot of partners she is less likely to be faithful and is probably has self esteem issues. Again this is just what we are thinking not necessarily fact. So yeah I guy would think a girl is nasty if she had that many partners. Most guys would figure a girl would have one steady partner every year or two on average to be considered a "good girl". This doesn't mean he won't date you if you have more than that but he won't like hearing you've had a lot of partners. May not be what you want to hear but it is the truth.
